2cute - That is so adorable! Did you applique the middle part of the t-shirt?
I finished DD's babydoll/twirl top that goes with her Smiles Around the World capri set!!
Here's the original set. It's great on it's own!! I loved the fabric so much that I made a twirl top to go with it!!

I made the top to match. I couldn't come up with a fabric I loved for the bodice so I used a denim looking material.

She's "modeling" the pantleg!?!

ohhhhhhhh ... those particular ones ...thanks we love to applique. can you share where you found that clip art with the star wars theme. I would love to try and make some for my kids.

ohhhhhhhh ... those particular ones ...
(*grabbing my coffee to wake up*)
I could not find a minnie-princess leia anywhere, so I had to drew it myself.
I wanted to do the sand-slave dress on her, but I guess that's not "fitting" for a child's outfit really. I opt'ed for the jedi-dress instead.
as for the mickey-luke skywalker = I found inspiring clipart online and redrew it to fit my needs better.
("redraw" = I use photoshop or draw by hand)
clipart = I try to change them up a bit, so they aren't the same.![]()

That is perfect for a day at Epcot! CUTE!!! (And I'm not just saying that because I sort of accidentally unintentionally insulted you!) The kids on that print remind me of the Small World kids. Is it a Disney fabric? Very sweet! What pattern is the twirl top? (So I can CAB)
Heyyyyy! Guess what? I'm doing a jumper with that exact print! YOU have fabulous taste and that is a really cute dress!
I've never even heard of shirring. I just bought the ready-done tube dress material and stitched up one side and VIOLA! Your's is way cuter. I wrote down your tips, thanks a bunch.
Loved your duct tape comment. We call it "duck" tape in our redneck family!![]()
Just so you all know, UtahMama is evil!
Shes gotten me addicted to this thread now. And it moves so fast!
She wouldnt post her projects anywhere else, so I had to search through millions of cute outfits to find the ones she did.
And now Im inspired by all of you!
Im putting the finishing touches on all my scrapping/stamping projects tonight, so I think Ill start sewing this weekend.
Theres only 2 problems.
1. Ive never sewn outfits. Ive done drapes, pillows and pillowcases, but those are almost all straight lines.
2. I have no kids!
My partner and I are taking some kids with us in September, so maybe Ill sew for them.
And then sew coordinating outfits for me and her.
Bottom line Ill be posting often for help!

You can also try www.dafont.com you can probably find the star wars font (i'm almost pos. they have the disney on, though I think it's called Waltograph) So you might have to search cause it might not actually be called "star wars" for obvious reasons. Then you could use it for their names even.

Balle - when you view it on photobucket, copy the section that says IMG code. I just did it and the only difference is it changes the first "s" to an "i". But anyway, it's faster than typing it out!
