We will be there then! I am worried a bit about the Columbus day crowd, but we'll manage. Alabama huh? Where do you teach?

Re: your question: I use a really close zigzag...like a .3 on my Brother. I also use a Sulky brand stabilizer ironed to the back. Some use a tear-away, others a cut-away. Go very slowly on curves. Once, you are done you can always go back and fill in bare spots by hand.

We will also be there over columbus day week. I heard it will be quite busy.

I give up...she wont cooperate tonite. Yeesh. Pics of it minus her will be up later. I am attempting to hang it up and take pics but I was interuppted...MY mother**exasperated sigh** is in on the phone with me having to tell me ALLLLLLL about some ppl I dont know. I promise a bit later to get them up.

Well, can't you just tell her you have more important things to do!!!:lmao: :lmao: Ok, you go talk to your mommy, we will all just wait here patiently. :cutie:

Or.... HELLO!!!... not so patiently!!!! :rotfl: I already love this skirt and I haven't even seen it. I think I love the idea of a Pluto Poodle skirt. It is just too clever. Can't wait for the pics.

About the rhinestones.... I bought some at Wal-Mart that can just be ironed on -- so said anyway. I haven't tried them, but I would think it'd be easier than all that gluing. Don't know how they hold up in the wash though. Haven't tried them yet.

Eeyore's Tiara: I found it at JoAnn's. It was with a a bunch of patriotic stuff and it was on sale!

Although these are overalls, you could always do jean shorts and a tee with these designs.

Happy sewing!

I absolutely love the overalls with walt and Mickey on the back. Did you make these?

ONce I got my mother off the phone and the cranky child fed, I was able to take some pics. The waistband still needs adjusted but at least you will get the jist of it. I will have to do 2 posts to get all the pics in.:lmao:

Just imagine the following with the cute red scarf and the saddle shoes and bobby socks. :lmao:
1st off ...the whole outfit

Close up of the shirt...prebought from Kmart I just added the bling to make it more girly
IMG_0647.jpg

THE SKIRT ..infamous tho it may be.:rotfl2: and yes I taped it to the wall to get it to flare out. The leash is not sewn completely down as to make it move when she does.
IMG_0646.jpg

Close up of Pluto...He is made of yellow material (ironed on) his ear, collar, nose and tail are fun foam.(to give him demension) The rest is handpainted including the trim in black(I have a teeny tiny paintbrush and lots of patience.;) )

Hidden Mickey

MORE TO COME

NOW SHE WANTS TO PUT THE DARN THING ON.....:sad2: Ignore the messy hair and bare feet. Stubborn child. Oh and the string in the flower bed(stupid ppl across the way wanted to mow down all my flowers..yes there are flowers in there, they just havent bloomed yet)

This is how long it will be on her.
IMG_0650.jpg

LOOK I MADE A TWIRL SKIRT (inadvertadly...but I made one nonetheless:rotfl: ) Disregard rough seam..still need to trim in spots.
IMG_0653.jpg

When we go down she has a pair of white tennies that I will put some velco dots on to change out the decs according to outfit. They will be made out of fun foam so if she loses one, no big deal. (I'll carry spare Mickey heads since they match everything) The last day is our MGM day so I will precut some black fun foam to make them look like saddle shoes. Now I just have to remember what saddle shoes look like:rotfl:

Enjoy..

Thanks. Cant see the pic tho.

I mainly want her to be comfy at the park. If she messes it up a bit, I will be a bit upset but not as much as if I would have spent more then the $10 I did on it.(the shirt was like $7 or so)

That is too cute! It turned out great. I was wondering where you found pluto standing like that till I read you made him. I am very impressed. The leash trim is great too.

The Pluto skirt looks great! Now all she needs is the red scarf:rolleyes1 It's going into the mail tomorrow... and it will look so much cuter on her than hanging in the back of my closet!

That's odd! I see it there! Oh well - just do an image web search (google or whoever) for 'saddle shoe'

I have used the iron on rhinestones a few times. However they were the ones like a patch almost, we used the initials. FYI they do not iron onto fleece:) everything else was fine.

The rhinestones are not that hard to put on with the glue. All I do is use the tip of the glue to follow whatever line I am tracing and then put the gems on one at a time. It goes pretty fast. You get into a really good groove after a while :) I usually use a 5mm swarovski crystal flat back. I order them in bulk from some place called blue moon online. As I said my daughter is a cheerleader and thinks everything has to bling:rolleyes: I am pretty sure we (the other cheer moms) used thousands of those little crystals last cheer season for that team. What a mom won’t do for her kids. LOL!

I also wanted to add I LOVE the Pluto Poodle skirt. I wish we were going to MGM in September, but sadly we are not :(

Hi Girls!

For those of you that asked me about the boys outfits I posted, NO, I did not make any of those. PM me if you want any of the sellers.

Happy Sewing!

With the wonderful instructions from Buffy0214, I made 2 autograph bags tonight - I followed her directions, and I think they came out pretty good - I didn't put the velcro on the bag yet, didn't have any, so I still have to do that, but here is a pic of my dd modeling the bag!!!! It took me less than an hour to do both - thanks again - what a great idea!!

This is just adorable, as are all of your other outfits! May I asked how you did this skirt? Is there a pattern or directions anywhere. I would love to do one for my DD too but have almost no sewing experiance. Let me say you are giving me hope...:)

Yes, the pattern is by SewBaby, "The Twirly Dress" (F869). I got it at Joann's by the easy sew patterns on the wall. It is so simple! I even made it a bit more difficult by folding the pattern in half, so I would have 12 panels rather than six. The pattern is actually for a dress, you make the top or use a store bought shirt. I just turned it into a skirt instead. (No gathering that way!)

Wow! These are awesome!!!

Can you pls PM me with your ebay id for future reference? Thanks!
