What happens to the vouchers and such now that WDW is going to 3-9 for children's buffet and meal pricing instead of 3-11. Sounds so ridiculous to pay $25 for a 10 year old's meal.......New policy starts Jan. 2, it seems.

I agree that it does seem to be ridiculous to pay that price for a 10 -YO's meal but it does bring their dining's definition of "child" in line with their ticket pricing. It's too bad that they don't have something like the "Big Kids' Meal" that McDonald's and Burger King offer. There's no way that most 10-YOs could finish the adult portions. What a waste of $$$!

Ugh! Paying adult prices for my 11 year old sounds ridiculous. Especially considering he eats less than our 5yo.
Looks like we will be planning to eat more in our villa or try the Crossroads area.

Having a "Big Kids" option sounds nice. That would be a good idea.

The "Big Kids" option sounds like a terrific idea. I would like to do the characters meals with my DD, but even the child's price seems way over the top for a child that wants to interact more with the characters than eating the meal.
