How flexible is WDW with bringing cups into the parks? We were planning on taking in a sippie cup for DS2 and a disposable cup w/straw for DD4. We were also wanting to take juice boxes in that we will refill the kids cups with. Is this possible?
You sure can bring in cups for the kids. I just wanted to mention that straws are not allowed at AK so plan a different cup for that day. (Unless it has a built in straw, of course).
We just returned and I took water bottles, juice boxes, and snacks in my bag with no problem. I seen people with alot of food (big bags of chips, boxes of crackers, and so on).
We stood behind a family in the security line outside of MK and I kid you not they had a large rolling suit case. They were pulling out loaves of bread, gallons of drinks, peanut butter...... So I guess you can take anything in with you I couldn't believe what I was watching!! I'll bet they saved a lot of money on food but who would want to lug that thing around all day? Maybe they fit it into a locker. It was too funny though.
We have taken sipper cups in many times, juice boxes, bottled water, fresh fruit from the hotel... we have never had a problem.
I've started to bring a small cooler bag. I use frozen bottled water as ice packs. My bag is big enough to hold 2 water bottles and 2 baby bottles. With the Florida heat, the ice bottles only seem to last about 3 to 4 hours.
