Anyone know if the kids CS credits are separated from the adults CS credits with the 2008 DDP? I know that in 2007 they were not separated like the TS credits were.

I haven't been to Disney on the Dining plan yet, but I have heard that the kids are definitely separated from the adult credits.

I don't think they will seperate the kids' CS credits from adults, because it would create problems at the handful of CS locations that don't have seperate kids' menus. I suspect they'll continue with the system of checking the order against the party size on the KTTW card so that you cannot order more adult meals than you have adults in your group at any one time, but unless places like Pizza Planet and Refreshment Port and Boulangerie Patisserie and Main Street Bakery get kids' menus, I don't think it is practical for the credits can be seperated in the computer system.

What I have read is that kids must order from the kids menu if one is available, unless there is no kids menu at the CS place, then they can order a regular meal. (from the Disney Dining plan brochure that I printed off)

Like the PP mentioned, there are a few places that do not offer a kids meal so I guess that would be a way to maximize your CS credit.

However, I really don't know how this works in their system, but that is what it says on the brochure.

When I looked at the info on the Dining plan discussion board, I found the listing of CS restaurants that have no children's menu...

• Catalina Eddie --DHS
• Taluca Turkey Legs --DHS
• Cool Wash Pizza --??
• Casey's -- MK
• Pete's Doggone Good dogs --??
• Pizza Planet --DHS
• Sommerfest -- EPCOT/Germany
• Yorkshire County Fish Shop -- EPCOT/UK

We leave in a couple of weeks and if they do start to separate the CS credits I would like to know....

None of the (few) DISers who've reported so far this year have indicated that the entitlements in question are separated. Apparently Disney still relies on its Guests to follow the rules of the DDP :teeth:
