Kid's Cooking

Last time we were in WDW, we ate at the Sunshine Season's food fair in Epcot's the Land attraction, they had some sort of kid's cooking thing going on at the restaurant on the end, does anyone know what it is called, or how you can find out more info about it??

Are you referring to the nestle toll house "chefs" that the kids can become. They used to get some of the cookies they "made" and choc chips in a tin too. I think it only took 30 min or so. If this is what I'm thinking of!

I think my kids would love to do that, does anyone know where to call or how to find out anymore info on this ?

Yep, the kids can make chocolate chip cookies in the Land Pavillion. My kids did it in Dec and had a ball. There is no advance reservation, but they advise getting there about 15 minutes before the stated time. They only accept a limited number of kids each time, Im guessing it was about 15. In Dec they did it on the half hour every hour from 12:30-4:30.
The kids get a JR Chef hat with their name on it and they all have a part to do in making the cookies. They also each get to plop some down on the tray. Then they sit down, shake their chocolae chips, and through Disney magic the cookies cook in minutes. They are then each given 2 cookies, and their little container of chocolate chips. It made a great midday snack for us and the kids really enjoyed it.

Thanks very much, about how long did it last? I think my kids would love this, and since we will be doing the ice cream social, it will be great and convenient.

Nope, no cost. Its the best free snack in the parks...and fun for the kids too.
