We are sailing next November 2005.. DS will be 11 and DD will be 8 (will just turn 8 in September).. We are traveling with some friends with other children. The other children will turn 7 in June which would put them in a different club than my DD. My question is.. Will the 7 year olds be able to participate with the 8 year old group or will my DD be able to participate with the 7 year old group?

I'm wondering this too, my Dd will only be 8yo by a little over a month too and my Ds is 6yo. I'd really like them to be together!

General reply to all questions regarding the Club/Lab is talk to the counselors. They're usually pretty good about working with you to get your group together.

Lots of folks have posted that they let the "just barely too old" children drop down with the younger group as long as they can fit in with the activities.

DCL's website says that the child can move up if they're within one month of the minimum age.

For #1DopeyFan and msnmom I'd recommending asking if the slightly too old child can move down.

Remember that the counselors want to work with you to assure that you and your kids have a great vacation.
