I was wondering if anyone has been successful in putting a 41/2 year old dd with her 6 yr old brother in the clubs? Do they allow this? I think my dd will be much better with older kids since she is 4 going on 40! Thanks for the advice!!

They usually only bump up if the child is very close to their b-day. Your son might be able to bump down. It never hurts to ask though when you check her in about moving her up.

::MickeyMo Disney is pretty strict about having children in their age appropriate "club". But there are many activities for children outside the clubs : Mickey Pool, Tea with Wendy, Character Breakfast, Pirate and Princess Dance and of course family time in port...especially Castaway Cay ! The childrens programs are wonderful. All the Cast Members have a college degree and they're so helpful in getting kids to participate and feel part of the group. It's not at all like babysitting...there are age appro. activities morning til night ! Have a great cruise !::MinnieMo

There are some times during the day that the 3-4 & 5-7 groups are together for free play & activities. Have you looked at the navigators for the Club. The 5-7s do spend some time in the lab but maybe that will be good. Your kids can have some time together & some apart after they have had a chance to meet other kids in the club.

We had a 4 and 7 yo on the 4 day in March - the club allowed us to move the 4 yo up to be with his 7 yo sister (assuming he was mature enough to handle it - which he was) - this was a one-time thing - we could not move them back and forth - it worked out great for both of them - they had a great time being together, and there were enough kids in the club that they could play separately or together if they wanted.

You need to try when you register your children. We were also allowed to move a big for his age 4 yr old relative in with my DS5 at the time (last year) and he fit in with no problem . They did however say that if it did not work out for any reason, that he would not be able to stay. We agreed to this stipulation before he was allowed to do this. Good luck - Mike
