Hi there! We are headed down to WDW next month and one night my husband and I would like to go out to dinner... ALONE! We will have our son (10) and his best friend who is also 10 with us on vacation. We have the Neverland Club booked for them but when I looked through the info I found on-line all I saw were pictures of little little kids. Will 2 10 year old boys feel weird there? Is it older kid friendly? Or, is there another club that would be better? We picked Neverland Club because we have dinner at the Grand Floridian that night and thought it would be easiest to be right there on the monorail line. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Tanks in advance! :)

I'd love to know the answer to this too. We have one tween/and one teen but our other 3 children are younger. It would be GREAT if my husband and I could have a night alone to go eat....we've not had one since we brought our adopted children home last year, so it's long overdue. We don't complain though....I mean it's not like they are connected at the hip to us or anything LOL Still....might be something we'd consider if we could figure out which club would be appropriate for both age groups.

We used the Neverland club for DS (4) and he loved it. I have a friend who used it for her DS who was 8 and said that he loved it. They have all sorts of arcarde games and stuff that the older kids love. I don't think they would feel weird- there seemed to be enough stuff to keep the older kids happy, too.

Thanks so much! As long as there are video games, I am sure the boys will be happy. This is Chandler's first trip (my son's friend) and so I am really trying t make everything as perfect and fun as possible. :)

When my son was just shy of 7 (DD was 4 1/2) they went to Simba's Cubhouse one night, so DH and I had dinner at Jiko. My DD loved it, made a friend, but DS was very bored. He was really too old for it at that age. They had one video game system, so he mostly just played that.

Now your son may have fun, since he'll have his friend with him. It is expensive! I personally would consider not doing it, as it's really great for little kids (toddlers maybe) but Simba's at least was very much boring for my son.

The teen/tweens could always relax in the room, as long as they have a cell phone. At least I'd let my kids do that. I think the kids' clubs only go up to age 12, but I couldn't imagine one that old in it. They are great for young kids, but my son was bored at almost 7, and he thought it was babyish.

It looks babyish which is my concern. Although the video game systems might be fun for them. And I just changed our ADR from 4 to 2. Well, they might just have suck it up for a few hours. ;)
