Does anyone have any photos of any of the kids clubs at the resorts? Hubby and I would like to visit V&A for our anniversary and my 6 yr old DS is a little hesitant. I thought maybe some pictures would put him at ease.

Any pics or links??
Thanks,
Susan :flower:

Can't help you on pictures, but I can offer some descriptions of the Poly's and GF's clubs.

DD stayed at Neverland for a couple hours in December. I would guess the size at close to 2,000 square ft of space. There are sections for different activities (an arcade room, a craft area, toy/play area, and a big "theatre" where they have movies running. Neverland would be great for an active child that likes to do lots of different things. I'm not sure what the child limit is - probably at least 20, if not 30. There was one CM at the desk and 2 or 3 others working the club with the kids.

We also checked out GF's Mouseketeer Club, right next to Gasparilla Grill. MC is a lot different from TNC. MC is one room (maybe 500 sq. ft.), with a large table in the middle for crafts. One wall is lined with computers, game systems. They also run a movie. I think the child limit is 12 at GF, with one CM attending (when we were there). Active children would be boxed in here. But for a kid that wants to play on the computer, play Playstation, etc for a couple hours - this would be fine.

I have left my DD (6 years old now) at both the AKL (Simba's Cubhouse) and WL (Cub's Den...she has stayed there twice) and I cannot tell you how much she LOVES it! She is an only child, so I was a little hesitant about leaving her since she has no sibling to keep her company there. But my DD is very social and makes friends easily. EVERY TIME we pick her up (she stays between 2-3 hours) she BEGS us to let her stay longer. if it wasn't $10 and hour, we would let her stay all night! LOL!

If the kids get there around dinner time, they get a meal included in the price. I think if you left him at the GF club you would feel more at ease cuz you could go check on him at anytime (if you wanted to.) We always leave her at the same location we will be dining at. Sometimes we have drinks and apps in the lounge, then go visit her and ask her if she wants to go with us to eat dinner. Of course she DOESN'T! Then we go eat dinner in peace, knowing our little girl is having a blast with other kids her age!

They will give you a beepr that works all over WDW property, plus you leave your cel number if you have one.

Don't worry...go to V&A's and have FUN! I am dying to try that place!

My DD did both the one at WL and the Neverland Club when she was 6 and preferred Neverland Club. As one of the previous posts said, Neverland Club is larger and has more to offer. In fact, she has returned to Neverland Club several times since then. The Castmembers are great and many times we returned to find DD and a castmember doing crafts together and DD didn't want to leave. They will take all of you info when you leave and give you a beeper if they need you and a phone number if you want to check in. I can't say enough about these clubs and the castmembers they have in them. I hope that your son decides that he would like to go, and that you get your dinner at V&A's!
