My DH and I want to go to HHN so we will need to leave kids at clubs. 11,10,5.
What have been your experiences with these clubs, and which one did you go to? I'm just not sure how they will be sitting there for 4-5 hours.

Is it pretty safe that I don't have to worry about my 5 yo getting out like pushing open a door and fleeing? :rotfl2:

You can also call local babysitters and they will come directly to your room. We've used fairy godmothers twice at DW (not sure if they are even still around, used them 3 years ago), but it worked out great for our 3 boys. Especially at $12/hr vs kids club with 3 at $36/hr!!!. Just do some searches on this site and I'm sure you can get lots of info.

I left my kids DS 4 and DH8 at the kids club at PBH. We did it twice. They had a great time and we kept calling them to see if they were alright. I was very nervous because I never left them with anyone other then family before.

Both time we left them they were in the care of a male employee. I didn't like that. I would rather of had a female. but it worked out fine.

Would there be any way thatmy 5 yo could get out? Was there alot of things to play with?

Thanks

I asked them the same question if my 4 year old could get out. They said no the door was locked. I was worried about that too. They had alot of toys to play with and computers as well. The employees must have kept them busy because my kids wanted to go back.

I would call and ask to speak to my dd8 to make sure she was alright. That made me feel better. It was alot of money for two kids but worth it just so me and dh can have a quiet dinner alone.

We used the kids club last month in early June.

Thanks - I am sure I am going to have quite a bill for 3 kids while we go to HHN for 5-6 hours.

My kids are older now but several years ago they spent several nights at Lil' Rocks at the Hard Rock Hotel and absolutely LOVED it. They begged my husband and I to go out again so they could go back. I actually thought they had a better counselors:kids ratio than the Disney kids clubs. For comparison's sake, my kids favorite WDW kids' club was the Sandcastle Club at the Beach Club. They HATED the Neverland Club at the Polynesian.

As to Lil' Rocks, you can certainly call in to your child but they'll give you a pager when you sign your child in so they can contact you if necessary.

They have plenty of things for the kids to do: Computer games, board games, crafts, movies, dolls, etc. They also have a dedicated playground area in the back of the club which is completely inaccessible except from within the confines of the club. (It's actually kind of caged in. :rotfl: ) Your little one won't be able to flee!!!

My kids were more in the 10-11 age range and the counselors actually took a few of the older kids out onto Strawberry Fields (the great lawn area) to play some touch football. My kids still talk about what a good time they had. This was NOT for the little ones, though.

I'm sure your kids will have a great time. Enjoy HHN!
