Kids Clubs and age cut off?

My DS will be 4 1/2 when we cruise in October. Will he be with the 3 & 4 years olds or should I try and get him in with the 5 plus group? He goes to preschool and it exposed to children of all ages.

When I cruised, my son was 4 1/2 and he was with the 3-4 group. I think it was kinda "babyish" for him. He enjoyed it, but probably would have enjoyed being with the bigger kids more. Keep in mind though, that my son has always been with the older kids and always gone to daycare, so I think he is (or acts) older than he really is. I would go with the older group.

They will not bump up the child into the next group unless they are within one month of their birthday at the time of sailing.
