Starting to plan our first cruise. My dds will be 13 and 15 when we are thinking of going. I noticed that they would be in different clubs. How acceptable are they to let my younger dd join the older one? They don't want to be seperated?

They can be together during "Open House" times. Otherwise, while it may be possible, I have not heard many reports of a 13-yr-old aging up to Vibe and the 15-yr-old is over the age limit for Edge. There are many activities around the ship they can do together as well. I would prepare them for that scenario; then request for the younger to move up when you are onboard, but it may not be allowed.

Enjoy your cruise!

As PP mentioned, outside of open house times they won't be together unless they are on their own outside of the club. There is plenty for them to do and not get into trouble. Poolside movies, broadway style shows, movies in the theaters, etc.

That's what I was afraid of. May have to wait another year. They are best friends and don't want to go unless they are together.

You know your kids better than I, but do you not feel safe leaving them along for a few hours each day unsupervised? The ships are extremely safe and there is plenty of structured activities for them to do even when not in kids camp. You would have to try, extremely hard to not find a cast member for more than 5 or ten minutes just about anywhere on the ship. Especially somewhere you shouldn't be.

I am completely comfortable leaving them. They are peanut butter and jelly...always together. It's just what they prefer.

What I am saying is, they don't HAVE to go to Kids Clubs. They can still be together and do different activities. BUT, to do the activities together IN Kids Club is where you would run into the problem. During open houses they can be together, then maybe try and be separated for a little while and if they don't like it, have them checked out let them do something else together.
