Kids Club and ToT and RnR Wait Time Questions

Which kids club is closest to MGM and Epcot? I was thinking about leaving my son in one of the clubs so that I could have a few hours at MGM and/or Epcot.

Any idea how far in advance the club should be reserved during value season? I was hoping that I could call the day we want the club or maybe the day before so we can kind of play it by ear.

Any idea what the wait times are running at ToT and RnR in the late afternoon (would be in a week, could be on a weekday since the crowds are probably less on those days). I don't want to get my son to a kids club and then have the parks real busy and spend most of my time in line.

I haven't been to WDW since 12/8/03 so I can't help you with your question about the wait times.

I've put a copy of this post on our Disney for Families board. I'll bet the experts there can offer excellent advice about the kids clubs.
