Kids + Citricos + Pirate costumes???

I'm glad you're still having dinner at Citricos. Your children would have been fine in costume.

We last dined there Saturday and is was great. No costumes that night as there wasn't a party but I'm sure it's a very common sight. As usual, there was a wide variety of dress. The best dressed award would have gone to a young couple at the table next to us. He wore a dark suit and she a black cocktail dress. But they had a toddler along and an infant who fell asleep part way through the meal. The host helped the mom wheel in a buggy and they tucked the baby in. It is WDW.;)

It might look a little odd if you, as adults, entered dressed as pirates but I see absolutely no problem with your little ones being dressed up. Its lovely to see the little ones in costumes.

I echo these sentiments. I think it is adorable to see well-behaved children in the princess / fairy or pirate / prince costumes. It may be an expensive restaurant, but it is Disney signature dining... and surely no one can fault the children for showing a bit of imagination on the Happiest Place on Earth. As long as they are under the age of 12 years old (and don't plan to act like their character out loud!), and the costumes don't have gaping holes or are dirty, etc., then go ahead and let them wear the costumes.
:laundy: :cheer2:

I see this at Disney TS all the time, perhaps a little less frequently at Signature dining... but it's still fine. You can also call the CMs ahead of time if you feel self-conscious about it.

Not that it matters, but here's MHO... If kids behave properly & aren't disruptive, most everyone will think they're adorable regardless of what they're wearing. The other is also true. If they act like little pirates, noone will think they're cute. Going by the fact that you cared enough to ask the question, it's obvious you care about your fellow diners & will respond appropriately if your kids have just had enough. Go & enjoy your meals & don't worry about the little things that don't really matter. :goodvibes
