Kids CBC

So living in Detroit and having access to CBC (cannel 9 Windsor.) My DD (5 next week) has found her new favorite thing. Anything on kids CBC, but mostly Pinky Dinky Do. Rather cute show but at 8:30 am I tend to tune it out. From what I have seen it is very cute (and fun educational, with tests what the kids saw during the show.)

The funny thing is her friends don't wacth CBC and have no idea what she is going on about.

So do Canandain kids go nuts over this too?

We usually toon in (sorry - couldn't resist ) on Saturday mornings. DS is at daycare during the week. We also have a kids channel called Treehouse which runs many of the same programs. It is 24hr kids shows so we watch that one alot. When we had our 'free' ( ) satellite we got Nick Jr and alot of other 'American' kids channels and they were GREAT!

My DD age 7 likes Pinky Dinky Doo. She and a couple of her friends use some of the phrases from the show and giggle a lot. The exact phrases escape me at the moment (okay, so maybe I'm repressing them) but I know them when I hear them!

The other day she was singing the song, the story box one. I can't get the words now because I KNOW I am represssing them. She turned and looked at me and said "mom I just can't stop signing it, I want to but I can't."

Now she wants me to tape it daily so see can wacth it more often. It does seem like a cute show.

I have noticed that Playhouse Disney picks up a lot of the CBC shows.
