Kids at Trader Sams/Tangaroa Terrace

Just wondering.... are kids allowed in Trader Sams if they are with their parents for a drink and snack,or, if not, can you order drinks at Trader Sams and have them with your meal at Tangaroa Terrace? Looking forward to tropical food znd trying a tiki drink and will have our child with us. Thanks in advance!

When we go, it will just be me and my son, so I'm hoping they allow children too. My guess is they will allow children since they also serve food. They may not allow them to sit at the bar. I have heard that when Trader Sam's is really busy, guest are taking their beverage on the patio, so I don't see why they wouldn't allow you to take it to the Terrace area.

I believe an 8 or 9 pm curfew was mentioned. Before the curfew kids are allowed and then it's 21 and over only.

I doubt it will have anymore restrictions from the rest of DLR. Minors can not sit at the bar itself, but may sit at tables around the bar/lounge if food is served. So since they are allowed into the Cove Bar, NR's Hearthstone Lounge, Alfresco Lounge, I don't think Trader Sam's will be an exception. Plus you can order at the bar and go sit outside in the shared seating with Trangoa Terrace.

The inside of Trader Sam's is not that big to begin with. When we were wandering around Sunday, we noticed several kids coming out. But when we went in, it was rather small. There's the bar and maybe 10 tables or so along the walls. There is a limited food menu, I did hear the bartender suggest to someone that could sit outside with their drinks and get food from Trangoa Terrace. I was going to take a picture but someone had just ordered one of the drinks that sets off the volcano effects and I forgot after that

When I spoke on the phone with the reservation people they told me it was for families too. I mentioned that I have 5 of them and she said it was no problem. I have to imagine if there was some sort of "exclusion" she would have said something. I'm excited!! I love anything "NEW" at DL!!!

It might be a CA law that minors can be there but not sitting at the bar itself. We did see families at the tables on Saturday night.
