Kids at fine dining??

My husband and I want to try a couple of the Signature dining restaurants...

We have children ages 6,4, and 2 who are used to dining out and well behaved, but still kids... (you know what I mean)

Are they well received at the ritzier restaurants?? I assume 2TS meals are still used for them also??

definately! kids are fine to have a signature restaraunts. We always go to Yachtsmen w/ our 2 who are 10 and 8 now. We have also been to Narcosses. Now if my little one were acting up in these restauraunts I would make sure they escorted out by my DH or myself. I always make sure they have stuff to entertain them and they are aware before hand on how they are expected to act in this type of establishment. They love Yachtsmen so much they will always be on there best behavior.
Other restaraunts like Ohana's Whispering Canyon, Biergarten, and character restaraunts Hey get up and be Kids, have fun.

we do, and have for some time, taken all of our children (14, 12, 10 and 5) to all the restaurants. they are well behaved, and 90% of the time get compliments from the servers and often other guests which makes them feel special as well. they have eaten in every sit down restaurant at wdw with the exception of the fancy fancy french (sorry, blanking on the name), and victoria and alberts. their favorites are california grill, citricos and now, jiko. i think if you go into it with realistic expectations regarding it will be a little darker, and a little quieter and something new for them to do at the table, it sounds like they, and you, will enjoy. i always feel like a new, small toy for my little guy is equivalent to the glass of wine my husband and i will have before dinner, and he loves the novelty of the new toy. the children's menus are all very close, even at the signature restaurants so you don't need to worry about their tastes, and at the signature they also are happy to accomodate and will do whatever they can to make the little ones happy. ENJOY!!!!!

I take my DD with me all the time. We can't wait until she is 12 and can go to V&A with us. Kids are very welcome in all the restaurants.

One of my favorite meals was my 40th birthday. The 2 of us dined at the Ca Grill and my DD had been to the BBB that day so she was all decked out. We just had such a memorable meal!
