Kids At Blizzard Beach

The waterparks have great areas for little ones! A shallow stream for tippytoe wading and building sandcastles by, and kid size slides for the 6 yr old. I say go for it!

We prefer Typhoon Lagoon, but we had fun at Blizzard Beach. If you're going during the summer and you don't mind following a 2 yr. old at a water park, then it is worthwhile. We just went to TL again in May, and there is a big area for little ones with slides a 2 yr. old can do. You can take the kids in the lazy river which will give you a bit of a break. I'd put the 2 yr. old in the tube with me, of course.

If, however, you are staying at the Yacht or Beach Club, then it wouldn't be worth it since they have a water park for a pool. It's nothing close to TL or BB, but for that age it would be enough water fun.

Yes, I would go to the waterpark. We go twice each trip. I believe that BB is the best choice for young kids. The kiddie area is much nicer at BB. It is newer and easier to watch the kids. There is also a great intermidiate area. The intermidate area has medium sized tube slides that empty into shallow water. This is a great place to get kids used it the water. Some of the big slides have double tubes so an adult and child can go down together. We went to TL this past trip and it was nice but i thought the wave pool was too rough for my 4 yr. old. If you have time visit both but go to BB first. The theming at BB is great. Have a great trip. :thumbsup2
