I know kids are allowed at every restaurant except V&A's, but will people be upset if we take them here? I see there isn't a kids menu, is that to deter people from bringing little ones? I don't want to get eye rolls from couples wanting to have a romantic dinner and then we show up with two preschoolers, who are 95% of the time VERY well behaved is restaurants.

What have been your experiences? Would you take kids there? Have you seen kids there? I only ask because we need to find a few more 2 credit restaurants and there aren't any at Epcot, at least that I can think of.

Bistro isn't on the DDP, so you can't burn up your credits here.

Have you thought about Flying Fish or Yachtsman. They are resorts that are within walking distance of the International Gateway (a back entrance/exit to Epcot)

I would personally not take little kids there. And you are correct, there are no 2 credit restaurants in Epcot. Bistro isn't on the dining plan at all. Tricia's suggestions are good ones. Both restaurants have kids menus.

Oh jeez!! I just assumed it was on the DDP. We will have ADR's at Flying Fish, wasn't quite sure about Yachtsman. Back to the drawing board! That's too bad, the menu at Bistro looked really really good. Thanks for your help!

The Bistro isn't on the dining plan at all, and while kids aren't discouraged, it is a longer, leisurely meal geared towards adults. The times I have been there there haven't been all that many kids.I think that preschoolers, even well behaved ones would not enjoy it all that much .

I have seen kids there. Usually when a family does show up with disruptive kids they get rushed to get them out of there. Last time I went to Bistro a group of eight, with two small kids. got there just before us. They were done with their meal and out as we were just starting our entrees.

Normally the service is paced for a two-hour meal.
