I have a 9 year old that will turn 10 next August. Our next vacation will be either May or June 2012. What happens if I buy him an AP and he becomes a Disney adult before the 1 year runs out?

No problem. He'll be able to use that AP until it expires. Then, if you renew, he'll get an adult AP, but at the adult renewal rate.

Thanks! I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it for me to buy AP's. It's me, ds9 and dd8. We've been going almost every year and, based on today's prices, 5 days base tix is $715. If I plan our 2013 trip within the 12 months, then (based on these #'s), the cost of 2 years' base tix will be $1,430.

AP's for all 3 are $1,570.88, but that would give us park hopping, which I thought I might add on this year, and more days at the parks if we decide to take more than a week's vacation.

Oh, the problems I have! lol
