Kids activities at CSR?

We will be staying there for a convention in 1/08 or several days. Are there scheduled kids activities at this resort like there are ar AKL? Thanks!

I stayed there 2 summers ago and there weren't any games/such in the lobby.

However, I do remember my kids saying that the lifeguards had an underwater contest for little sinkable water creatures. One time my son "caught" a shark, another time my daughter got a fish of some sort.

There also was a little thing when the pool opened for the morning. I remember a chant of some sort to the "water god" or something like that. It was more of a silly chant thing and then they all jumped in.

We were there two years ago during the holidays and they had evening activities. One night, I remember decorating cookies. It may have just been done during the holidays. During the summer our kids enjoyed kid's games at the pool. As mentioned they had pool games and sometimes things outside the pool like a pinata.

Our kids love just playing in the sand by the cabanas. I don't mind sitting in the hammocks while they play.

In the main lobby, there is pin trading with CM's, a coloring station, a TV playing Disney movies (pics on my website).

There is an arcade by the pool. You can rent a fishing pool and fish, rent a bike, play volleyball, there is a playground.

The chant is at the pool opening. The lifeguards also play pool games with the kids.

Stayed at CSR in June while at a convention. I asked about kids activities and was told there was not a set schedule. They did have crafts for the kids by the pool many days. The lifeguards would walk around and ask the kids if they'd like to join in. They also had a bellyflop contest in the pool every day. DD7 thought this was great!
