kids 4,5,6 & 7

I will be traveling with 4 children soon and they are 4,5,6 and 7. My concern is with the kids clubs. I've read that the ages for them are 5 thru 7 and 3 & 4. I would love for them all to be together, so what are my chances? The 4 yr old won't be 5 until June and we will be traveling in January. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

They will probably (but no guarantee) let you move the 4 yr old up. They'll say it's on a trial basis just to make sure the 4 yr old can "handle" it.

They offered to let my 4 yr old move up (to be with her sibs) on our Thanksgiving cruise and her 5th birthday is in Feb. I chose to keep her down because I knew she wouldn't mind and I thought the activities in the younger group would be more fun for her.

I was going to say the same thing. The "rule" is within one month of their next birthday to be the right age for the club. I have found that isn't true. They do go on a case by case basis. If your 4 yo wouldn't go to the club because the other 3 will be in the other group, they will probably move them up to the 5-7 group. They offered this to me as an option when I explained to them that if DD cried when we left she just needs to be given an activity to do but don't hug her because it upsets her more. Don't register in the terminal for the club. I would suggest that you go to the club after lunch & talk to the supervisor first.

This is a good thread.

DS will be 6 weeks from his 8th b-day when we sail. The cruise is a surprise, but he has said that the next time we cruise he wants to be in the Lab b/c he has done the Club 3 times.

DH was going to register him in the terminal. However, perhaps we will wait until we get on board and speak with a supervisor. That might give us some better insight into where he should be placed. We want him to have a great time.

The really want everyone to have the most MAGICal or WONDERful vacation possible.
