The news said she was booked and checked into the grand Floridian where they found her and her daughter. They are not sure if they had time to go to any parks as they had only been there for 4 hours before they where found and taken into custody.

What I don't understand is that they are reporting marriage issues and financial problems. So if she wanted to escape why did she call 911 and tell them she was kidnapped? That's a sure fire way to have people looking for you. Isn't it? If she had just disappeared she could have spent more then one day at WDW. Crazy is all I have to say.

Apparently she withdrew $15,000 over the past week from their accounts. She was planning this for a while.

I find this interesting, considering all the hoopla recently regarding that the name on your ID must exactly match the name on the Airline Ticket. Yet this woman wasn't even using her own ID.

She booked right at the airport and they say she looks just like the her Co-worker so this wouldn't bring up any flag accept the last minute booking.


They also reported she book until Fri into the resort and used that same ID .

My thoughts exactly!

This has been on the local news non-stop since the first 911 call on Tuesday evening. Last night when they said she flew to Orlando, I knew right away- they went to Disney World!

There's also reports that she may have taken a very large amount of money from the charity she worked for- something like $300K! It will be interesting to see how this all plays out over the next few weeks.

Can you imagine the horror she put her friends and family through ?

Not to mention what a waste of the valuable resources from all the law enforcement and other entities who were distracted in trying to find her and her daughter. That time and energy could have been spent finding REAL missing people.

i feel bad for the 8 month old baby and husband she left at home. And especially for her other daughter who probably thinks she's on vacation.

Just so bizzare! How did she get away with using a friends ID!? That is what I'd like to know. I feel so sorry for that little girl. She is now scared for life with horrible Disney memories! I can't imagine why her mother would do this. She had a husband and other kids at home too. Just sooooo odd. I will have to follow this story more closely.

This infuriates me! I work with law enforcement in Center City Philly and all night the other night were we keeping updates on the vehicle and subject description. Philly PD work very hard these last few days and followed every lead received from the public. And don't forget to account for the fear that it caused at the thought that this was just a random kidknapping. The nerve of some people.
