I decided that I was not going to do the PS. It is not supposed to be busy during that time so no stress. Plus you know Scotty and I are pretty easy to please. The only meal I worry about is Valentines Day, and that I will reserve. The restaurant is right across the street so we can walk. I like that.

He is picky because of his childhood. Long story, and not the happiest. The kids not really just common dislikes.

She will. She asks all the time for a brother and she is always making plans that her and her brother will do when he arrives. She is to young to understand but it does make me happy to know that she really wants one.

Not really. Today is my fil's birthday so they came for an early bird dinner. I made cheese enchiladas, Spanish rice, pinto beans, and a cake. They will still eat my food. Chloe made a Nutella sandwich. Tonight I dropped Gab and her friend at the movies. They are meeting boys. Just relaxing now. Watching Rapunzel with the kids. Tomorrow they have RS and then I have to start a report with DS.

I'm tossing around the triple split idea again as I want to try the THV too and the kids keep going back between those and AKV. Someone talk me down! I'd have to add 2 nights to the trip as I won't move for less than 3 nights.

His schedule is to work every other weekend but lately he has been working every weekend. By the end of today he will have worked an 87.5 hour week. He has tomorrow off and then goes back on Tuesday and it all starts again. His plant is really short handed and rather than hire new people they just over work their employees. It makes no sense to me.

Oh yeah he gets OT. He gets paid well but I am not real sure that the pay compensates for the wear and tear on his body.

I totally agree. When DH first started the FD we took all the OT we could. 16 years later he passes 99% of the time.

They are having mandatory overtime. They are so short handed that at least one person from his shift/job has to work every day.

Yikes. I'm sorry. DH only had mandatory when there is a big structure fire or mutual aid for another department.

Scotty makes plastic bottles. He works in one of those structures that if there was a fire your DH would get called in and you wouldn't want him to fight it.

I'm sure you're right. I never want him to fight it though. No structure is ever worth a life. But that's the profession he chose so I'm always aware of the risks involved. He's smart, knows fire, and his dept is very proactive.
