Joining in! Your PTR's title caught my eye! Read a little, heading back to read more.

While CSR is the resort that says home to me, we have stayed at SSR a few times and really love it there too!

 Hey girl, how are you? How's the start of summer going?

:welcome: Great to have you.

CSR looks great! I read such great things about it.

What sections in SSR have you stayed? It's a huge resort and even though we toured I can't grasp the areas.

I noticed your siggy; my middle DD has a Epilepsy, just started Trileptal. :goodvibes:

Hi, well my kids don't have summer break until June 16.

As far as weather goes we are finally above 65 degrees. Seriously. We had snow in the sierras this last weekend. To the point that there was chain control. So now finally we had 76 degrees, blue skies and sunshine!! I was so thrilled.

My sweet family at Tony's:

Oh wow, they must start later then. I love summer vacation as far as work goes because I can come in early and not worry about the kids to school. :thumbsup2

Our weather is the same. I'm ready for some temps in the 80s though for sure. I want to go to the pool. :cloud9:

Twice we stayed in the Springs on the first floor. I don't remember the room numbers, but we had to cross the street by the bridge and bus stop to get to the main pool.

Here's the TR from the 1st stay at SSR http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1525906

Our third stay was our favorite!! We had the perfect room!!!! We were in the Grand Stand. Room 8732!! It was just a studio, but it was the perfect location!! It was 3rd floor around the corner from the elevator. Standing in front of the door we could see the Grand Stand pool. From our balcony, we had a view of the parking lot and woods, but at night, we could see much of the fireworks from the MK AND Epcot!!! Unfortunately all the pics were on my desk top and it crashed.

Next time we stay at SSR, which won't be for a long time (because we are staying at CSR in Aug, POFQ in Sept, and Pop in Dec); I want to stay at the Paddock Club and try out the new pool. I am not sure if it's opened yet or not, but it looks like it will be AMAZING!!

How is the trileptal doing? I hear good things about it. My son is on tegretal, he gets mostly focal seizures. He goes for blood work tomorrow to check levels.

She started the Trileptal about 2 weeks ago and we haven't seen any seizure activity since. We had only been seeing them about once every six weeks until May 21 when she had the gran followed by 2 smaller ones. :guilty: So far so good. She was unmedicated for over 2 years but we knew medicating would always be a possibility.

Tegretal is a good med. I have a very good friend whose son is on Tegretal. I have another whose son is on Depakote. Good luck on the blood work. :goodvibes

:thanks: for the link, I'll go check it out tonight. DH is still gone so nothing like a trip report before bed. :thumbsup2

The new Paddock pool does look amazing. I just cannot wait to stay at our home resort. :woohoo:

:faint: You have 3 trips planned for this year? pixiedust: Wow! Lucky you!!!!

:cool1: Just booked the GCV for 3 nights at the end of November for a trip I'm not even sure we'll take :lmao: Will IASW holiday and HMH be running by then? Not even sure this trip will happen but predicting we'll be at the sucky Las Vegas Turkey Shoot soccer tourney again over Thanksgiving and didn't want to miss the chance to cruise down to So Cal as we'll be 2/3 of the way there from Utah. :woohoo:

Chloe cut her palm while shoving tacks in the drywall :guilty: so I need to buy poster board to re-do it. It was more than a paper cut but not stitch worthy.

We were this close to making it to Disneyland this month and then our friends changed their plans to visit Utah the exact same dates. Oh well, Disneyland will always be there.

Are you on summer break yet?

Awww poor Chloe!

I WISH it was summer break. Our last day is June 23rd. June feels sooooo long, especially in today's 100 degree heat.

She's a trooper for sure. :cutie: She's very responsible with her seizure med but I have to nag her to do her shot. Can't say I blame her.

It's in the 100s there? I'm so jealous. Today is 64*. I'm so ready for pool weather.

I'm so excited about December! Michael was so funny. I told him we'd go only if one of the kids played in the soccer tourney in Vegas. He said we've had this conversation foryears so if it's booked- we're going. I hope our waitlist comes thru. I'm going to call them daily! I've also decided to surprise the kids. Chloe will flip. :woohoo:

Glad you haven't seen any seizures since she started. Those Gran Mals are so scary! My son has mostly partials. My son has a brain lesion causing them, he has been on tegretol ever since his fist Grand Mal on Father's Day last year.

We definately want to check out the Paddock pool some time. Probably next year, if they bring out a good passholder rate? I was able to find the sd card that had the pics from our SSR stay last summer, with the good view. Would you like to see the pics?

Our 3 trips are short ones. We live in central Florida, so there's no airfare expense. We have annual passes, so we don't have to worry about that expense either. 3 nights at CSR, 3 nights at POFQ, and 2 nights at POP. Got great bounce back rates on the CSR and Pop stays! Passholder rate at POFQ.

Here is one from Tony's for you. :goodvibes Lexi loved it like I knew she would. I am glad I followed you and went there on our last night.

Poor Chloe and her hand. I am glad she did not need stitches though.

We had been really warm (101 and 98) but today was rainy and 67.

Yay for a trip booked.

Will IASW holiday and HMH be running by then?

They should be as from what I have usually seen on twiter from the various west coasters I follow HM goes down in early sept. and is open by mid to end of sept at HM Holiday. Small World usually goes down towards the end of Oct. and should be up again with it's holiday overlay by Thanksgiving at the latest.

I would love to see them. I am a photo junkie. And I prefer real photos as compared to staged website ones.

:thumbsup2 Great pic. I will have a very hard time not going to Tony's but am determined to branch out; we're staying and eating at all new places. :scared1: ;)

I'm jealous, wish it was that warm here. One of my bf's just put a pool in and we're going over tonight. It's only going to be 75*. I need it in the 80's if I'll be in a body of water.

I'm so excited to have a trip booked. I called this morning and checked on my wait-list. No luck yet but we'll see. Not sure what we'll do if it doesn't come through. We can either book a cash rate, use points at the DLH, stay at HoJo, or just stay near the beach as we we're only doing 3 days at Disneyland anyway. I feel lucky to get the GCV for even 3 nights after the 7 month mark. It's a VERY small resort with not many DVC villas. pixiedust:

:thanks: and :welcome: Both IASW holiday and HMH are my favorites. :cloud9: I like HMH better than the original which I know I not supposed to admit. ;)

I am so relieved that I am not the only one planning for 2012 this early! Your plans look great and I am sure you're all going to have an amazing time!

I like HMH much more myself. I think that there is something cute and refreshing about it.

This was the view from the balcony. Granted it wasn't much to look at during the day, but it was nice to see fireworks at night!

And a picture of the community center, my son was painting a bird house.

The drive isn't very far, about an hour away depending on traffic.
