:goodvibes You are so sweet. I will start the report tomorrow. I have the pics on my computer but need to move them to Photobucket for posting.

I am thinking of skipping the Vegas postion. It was cold and they lost all but one game.

Sounds like the games were rough. Too bad. Well there is always next year!!:cheer2:

Very rough. ;) The girls played up a level for some reason. They are silver and we played gold. :scared1: The scores weren't terrible and we made some great plays but we were out of our division.

It sounds to me like they did really well then. It is hard to play outside of your division.

Happy New Year Jenny!!!

Hi!!!

Happy New Year.

So, what's new on the planning front?

:goodvibes Thanks for sticking with me ladies and Michele (yes you are a lady too but not quoted above). I am just pulling out of my no-WDW-in-2011 funk. The DIS is sure hard to read when plans get canceled!

Jess, your trip is so close!!! I bet you are over the moon with excitement! :cloud9: Give me the latest and greatest on details please!!!

Hows Germany Cynthia? popcorn::

I have a 2011 Passporter coming, pre-ordered and imagine I will have a relapse in WDW depression. I swear there should really be some sort of support group. I guess there is in the form of these Boards.

As far as any plans, we are set on October 2011, half THV and half SSR 2 bedroom. I will bank this year's points so we'll easily have enough for both. DH knows this will be a looong trip since it will have been over 3 years since our last visit to WDW. I should have my DIS card revoked for that behavior

I would love to hear what you all have planned and Happy 2011!!!! :grouphug:

Well, since you asked I just through together a quick trip in February, the 21-24 or 25. No pre trip report long story better told elsewhere.

I made my ps today for Big Thunder bbq for lunch, Storyteller's for lunch, dinner for WoC at WCT, and lunch at Cafe New Orleans.

Busy morning.:lmao:

:cool1: Great ADRs! We love Storytellers. Have you seen WoC? Well worth having ADRs for too. Last time we did the picnic lunch, report to come , and I much prefer the dinner.

I will send you a message on fb.

We didn't see WoC in June because it was that crazy busy week that it opened and unlike you I didn't make any ADR's then. I am going with my bff so the WCT dinner is a great idea as it is just two grown ups.

We booked at BLT in a 1 bedroom lakeview for Saturday, August 13- Tuesday, August 23rd. Since we want to head over to see Harry Potter and I want to get the most out of our APs before they expire, we added 3 nights (August 10-13) at BCV in a 2 bedroom villa :yay:

You're going in October 2011? Or October 2012?

I knew that- sorry I am firing slow today. Yoga kicked my booty last night. WoC is amazing. The second time was just as good and we saw it friends who hadn't seen it which is always fun. And with your BFF? Can't beat that! :thumbsup2

:cool1: That's going to be a great trip. How many days are you doing Universal? I haven't read much about Happy Potter Land (not sure if that's even the name). When do your APs expire? Think you'll renew?

going in October 2011? Or October 2012?

2012. Orginally the plan was Dec 2011 because Hanukkah, Chloe's bday, and Chrstmas is all the same week so I thought it would be fabulous to spend all 3 at WDW. Still think it's a great idea however our wallet does not. With Gab's bat mitzvah this April and Chloe's next May plus Gabby's bat mitzvah gift of a week in So Cal (shopping/beach no Disney) this May we just can't do WDW too. Chloe gets her braces next month and those are $$$ too.

I am broke just thinking about it. It's all good really and we are blessed I know. But truth be told, I don't love the idea of waiting until late 2012. It will be a mega trip and points won't be an issue. Plus it will be Halloween and F&W which are both huge selling points to Chloe. Love that kid. :cutie:

We are so excited. Since you asked here are our plans.

Tuesday, Feb 1 ~ Our plane lands at 9:50pm so we have a room only ressie at Pop this night.

Wednesday, Feb 2 ~ This day is a resort day. We will probably sleep in and hang out at the resort. We are eating at Boma @ 5:10pm this night.

Thursday, Feb 3 ~ Animal Kingdom ~ We are eating at Tusker House for breakfast @ 8:15am. (I am trying to decide if I should change this to a later time so we can get FP and avoid the morning rush.) I don't mind doing a few rides first and then eating. We are going over to MK for MSEP and Wishes tonight.

Friday, Feb 4 ~ Magic Kingdom ~ We are having lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern @ 11:30am.

Saturday, Feb 5 ~ Epcot ~ We have Le Cellier ressies @ 11:45am today.

Sunday, Feb 6 ~ Break Day ~ Cape May Cafe ressies @ 5:00pm

Monday, Feb 7 ~ Epcot ~ Biergarten @ 5:00pm

Tuesday, Feb 8 ~ Magic Kingdom ~ Crystal Palace @ 8:10am

Wednesday, Feb 9 ~ Break Day ~ Ohana @ 5pm

Thursday, Feb 10 ~ DHS ~ Brown Derby @ 4:50pm

Friday, Feb 11 ~ DHS ~ Sci-Fi @ 11:30am

Saturday, Feb 12 ~ Break Day ~ Chef Mickey's for a late breakfast @ 10:45am.

Sunday, Feb 13 ~ Animal Kingdom ~ Yak and Yeti @ 11:30am. I am planning on going over to DHS to watch Fantasmic tonight.

Monday, Feb 14 ~ Free Day ~ Whatever Park we want. Kona @ 5:15pm

Tuesday, Feb 15 ~ Magic Kingdom ~ Our last full day. :sad1: Tony's @ 5:15pm. I know that Tony's gets a bad rap on the dining board but you say it is really good Jenny and I have seen some good reviews lately. Lexi loves Lady and the Tramp so I know she will love it here.

Wednesday, Feb 16 ~ No park today. ME will come for us around 8:30am I think. Our flight is at 11:30am.

So any suggestions. I am open to changing my plans, if they work with my adr's or if I can change my adr's I am willing to do that too. I do have to pay out of pocket for 1 adr since I have one to many.

Just checking in here to see what's going on. Your ticker's going down again right? Not up, like what happened a month or so ago. ;)

ETA: Woohoo! Top of the page!

I forgot to say that we have 10 day park hoppers.

They look fantastic! I would pay OOP for Sci-Fi as I believe it's the least expensive option especially for lunch.

We :lovestruc Tony's. If you love Lady and the Tramp then there is no way to miss the total under-rated magic of Tony's. It's so old school. :cloud9:

You are at Pop the entire time, yes?

I would plan on more than one night for Wishes. Winds can cause fireworks to be canceled so I like how you have Wishes planned near the start of the trip. :thumbsup2

Like how you have your break days spaced apart.

I know I might get flamed but I might change up DHS instead of doing it 2 days straight. It's my least favorite of the parks. I much prefer AK over DHS. With Lexi so small, DHS just doesn't offer a ton. But I do like the 2 AK, 2 Epcot, 2 DHS, and 3 for MK breakdown. :thumbsup2

You may find towards the end of your trip that you park hop more so I might try to do each park once before doing any repeats.

ETA: Take weather into account and use any warm spells to your advantage for off days and time at the pool. :teeth:

:goodvibes It's somewhere in the high 600s and going down slowly. This is more painful than watching the scale move while dieting. :scared:

I  top o the page!

This is the one adr that I don't really care if we don't make it. My dh is the one that really wants to eat there. I think the atmosphere sounds neat but other than the burgers. I haven't heard that many great things about it.

I can't wait to see it.

Yes we are.

I should have added that if we are in MK during the day than I do plan on staying for wishes. I am going over on our first park day because well who doesn't want to go MK on their first day. :goodvibes

Like how you have your break days spaced apart.

That was something my dh and I both agreed on. We both wanted days to just be able to sleep in and swim (if it is warm enough), go to DTD, resort hop, go over to Fort Wilderness and see the horses. Lexi is really into animals and I know she will love that.

I agree with you. I really didn't want to do DHS 2 days in a row. I think I scheduled it that way because of..... something but I can't remember right now.:rotfl:

You may find towards the end of your trip that you park hop more so I might try to do each park once before doing any repeats.

I think I wanted to do that but I was having a hard time with ADR's. I am going to try again and see what I can do.

I sure hope they don't have a cold spell like they did last year.
