My friend Marsha and her DH did different theme days once a month for their girls. One time was Splash Mountain with a slip and slide as part of it. Here is her thread. It has the details. It just seemed like a fun idea to me.

:confused3 I swear I responded but don't know where my post went. My mega countdown is porbably sitting randomly in someone's thread. :rotfl2:

:thanks: for the link, I will check it out!

You can upload to Photobucket (free) or another online photo site. From there you just copy the photo's link and paste it here. :goodvibes

I haven't read the thread but have given it a little thought. We like to do breakfast for dinner so obviously that would be Mickey pancakes like from the Riverbelle Terrace. My family loves clam chowder so we could do that in bread bowls. I keep all the kids' meal dishes- they are these great plastic Mickey head shaped bowls and they eat their cereal in them in the mornings. They are also great for a buffet of snacks as I call it. Apples in one ear, pb in the other, and then something like popcorn in the center.

I didn't wake up to a nasty PM so I am guessing it didn't bother anyone too much. :rotfl2:

:goodvibes Let's just say that during the Presidential Elections things got fairly heated on the Community Board. My ignore list grew leaps and bounds. ;)

It's perfect as it seats 8 and there are only 5 of us. The kids don't have to sit by one another unless they want to. I was totally against an SUV (carbon footprint, etc.) however, I admit it it's a great vehicle for road trips. :thumbsup2

What do you have planned for the weekend?

I am going to do some pre Thanksgiving preparations. Not much. How about yourself? I am sure it is going to be your normal crazy weekend.

I am with you on the carbon footprint, but you need a vehicle to fit the whole family. Scotty rides his bicycle to work and I walk to the store when I can. I use the reusable grocery bags, we recycle. We do what we can. I say as I sit here creating a carbon footprint on my computer.:hippie:

Between FB, searching for travels deals, paying bills, and DISing, my computer footprint is the size of Sasquatch!

That's great that he rides his bike to work. :thumbsup2

Yes, this weekend is crazy as usual: pedicure, science projects  services, soccer, religious school, finish decorating, kids' haircut, dogs groomed, and we are doing Thanksgiving on Monday. :scared1:

Oh gosh. Thanksgiving on Monday makes it way too close. Do you cook yourself or do you travel? I have bought our meals at Raley's for the last few years and then reheated it myself on Thanksgiving but this year I am cooking myself. My major concern is what fruit I am putting in my stuffing. My oldest doesn't like raisins, so that makes them kind of iffy. I feel that I need some sort of fruit in it. And I need to find some turkey sausage or bacon for it. I hope Walmart has some. Oh well, all will work out.

I was right you have a crazy weekend again.

Ohhhh a new ptr name. LOVE it!
I have to catch up here.
Have you stayed in the Epcot resort area? Iam about to enjoy my last day at the YC and don't want to go home tomorrow. Now I want to add on BCV points :rotfl:

We do Thanksgiving at our house. Growing up as a child of divorce, I swore that once I had my own family, we would celebrate in our home. If they want to see us, they can come here. ;) As a young girl I remember thinking that.

Put apples in yout stuffing. DH makes one with apples, craisins, and turkey sausage, It's amazing. Walmart should have it, if not Sams and Costco both do and for less money.

We have only stayed at POR, OKW, and AKV at WDW but I would love to try one of the Epcot resorts. Now that we'll be there during F&W I am thinking our SSR/THV may change but since I have just over a year to decide......:rotfl2:

You are there now? :woohoo: Enjoy and have a safe flight home. I haven't seen any FB pics. :rolleyes1

This morning I am off to get a pedicure with one of my gfs. :cloud9: I must have cute fet while on vacation. I don't care as much about my hands but I love purdy toes.

Have a beautiful day ladies. :goodvibes

I didn't realize that Costco did. I need to look on Tuesday. I think I will go with the apples. To me the colors are so pretty in a good stuffing.

I wish I remember the brand name but they make various turkey sausages; some with sun dried tomatoes, some with apples, some with portabello mushrooms- so yummy!

It's a blizzardy mess here today. I denied winter as long as I could.

I am going to the gym in just a minute. Made clay menorahs with my class today- they are super cute and colorful. Of course the girls fought over the hot pink.

My favorite place to eat on raod trips:

I know the ones you mean. They are made not far from the Jelly Belly plant and my husbands plant Amcor. I love when they are making sausage and I pick Scotty up from work. It smells wonderful, and you know now that you mention them I can kill two birds with one stone and get the chicken apple sausage and use that. You are brilliant. Thank you.

You're getting so close to Vegas! I can't wait to hear all about it!! Maybe you will hit it big and your trip can come sooner and you could even add-on! Hey can't blame a girl for dreaming right? I'm heading to NYC tomorrow for the day, taking my niece for her first American Girl doll and doing some sightseeing. So excited!
Have a great Thanksgiving on Monday and a safe trip to Vegas! Remember.....Momma needs a new pair of shoes! GO Gab!

Glad I could help. :goodvibes I bet it will be fabulous. I am SO excited for dinner tomorrow night and then the leftover sandwiches the next day. :cloud9:

10 the hard way baby! party: I love me a good game of Craps. I am giddy. We got the girls' soccer schedule finally and while not perfect, it will work. They have to be to the field an hour before the game as their coaches like them very warmed up for the game- helps prevent injury. :thumbsup2

If I win, you'll know! pixiedust:

Have fun in NYC. Chloe has Molly. What one(s) does your neice have?

Do you put cranberry sauce in your turkey sandwich?
