Whew! All caught up! It took me awhile last night, but I did it! The fun part was trying to figure out where I left off, it's busy over here!:rotfl:

My son would love that Yoda back pack!

It was spendy but worth every penny! He loves that thing. They had Chewy too but it wasn't nearly as cute.

Any fun Disney or summer plans?

That smart park food. For me it is the cold fruit from the fruit stands. Yes, I know it costs more. But maybe that is why it tastes so darn good.

I do enjoy a fresh pineapple spear too. It's just very hard for me to spend $2.50 on one apple. :faint: Does a frozen banana count as fruit? I hate bananas normally but I really like Disney's.

Protein seems to satisfy me longer. I've been known to have string cheese for breakfast.

Protein is better for you for a meal. Fruit is basically just sugar. I like the fruit cups with melons, grapes and such. I like a good variety especially on a hot day.

Did I ever tell you that the autopsy results came back for my sister? I thought of it because she was finally put to rest on Thursday.

I love string cheese for breakfast. Your beef jerky looks really yummy. We brought jerky with us on our trip and ate it for breakfast on the days we didn't have a breakfast adr.

And my oldest son would love that snack! Do they also sell that at the WDW parks?

We were in St. Augustine this week. He was very interested in the alligator jerky and the rattlesnake jerky he saw was tempting him to buy too. He ended up not getting either. It was alot cheaper than that gator jerky or rattle snake jerky.

He's doing better each day. Still getting tired, but I really think its just getting used to the meds. He's on 4 different meds and they are keeping his blood pressure really low. Almost too low, but he has an appt with the cardiologist this week so we'll talk about it with him then. He starts cardiac rehab on Monday so we went to the mall tonight and bought him some new shorts and tee's so he "looks good for rehab."

Our summer plans are a trip to St. Augustine for a week in September. We rented a condo on the beach and are taking my mom-in-law and surprising her with her best friend for the week too. Jay and I were talking at dinner tonight about slipping away one day and going to Disney, while we're in St. Augustine. Maybe even spending the night. We'll have to see. I'm still thinking about it. I'm so ready to get outta town and relax. I'm looking forward to Jay relaxing as well.

I'm trying to remember in the threads if there was talk of your summer plans, but I'm drawing a blank. What are you crazy kids up to this summer?

I wish your hubby all the best at rehab.

We just got back from a 2500+ mile road trip. Our last stop was St. Augustine! We love our time there! A condo on the beach sounds great! Have you been to St. Augustine before? We stayed at a little motel in Vilano Beach that I found for $62 a night.

Thanks so much, it's been a crazy few weeks but I'm glad he's feeling better and I think the cardiac rehab will be good for him. He's actually a bit excited about it and I've been trying to get him to the gym with me for years so this is a good step in the right direction.

We absolutely love St. Augustine, we've been there a few times now and just fell in love with it. It's actually where we want to move to. Our first time there was a few years ago when we went to Disney. We were meeting our BFF's at Disney but they were driving so we went a few days early and stayed at Vilano Beach then met them at Disney! That's how we found St. Augustine! We were looking for somewhere close to Disney that we had never been to before. We stayed at the Hampton Inn on the beach in Vilano Beach and it was the first time that I had seen my husband so relaxed, in 15 years! From that time on, it's our go to place. We're saving our points for a big Disney vacation next year so we decided St. Augustine on the beach is where we'll go this year. It was really economical too, considering we live near the Jersey Shore and to rent a house on the beach for a week there is crazy!!!

Where else did you go on your trip? A road trip sounds a lot of fun! I'd love to hear about it!

We use to vacation every year since I was 2 years old at Wildwood, NJ. I know what you mean about insane pricing of motels and condos! I love Avalon and Cape May!

St. Augustine is my dh's relaxation place too! I know where the motel is you stayed. Our motel was to the left after you get off the Vilano bridge, where you turned right to go to yours.

 You did not tell me....what did it say? May she rest in peace.

:thumbsup2 My kids are all beef jerky fanatics. I have to weigh and make them their own baggies with their names on it or they fight over it.

I don't think the parks sell beef jerky. We bring it with us.

Gator and rattlesnake jerky? I can't eat anything that I'm afraid of. :rotfl2: How was the trip?

You are the nicest DIL ever!!! Seriously. How far is St Augustine from WDW? I think it sounds great to slip away for the night. :thumbsup2

Gabby and Joshua leave for 2 week Jewish summer camp tomorrow in Denver. I am sticking them on a plane. :hyper: My nerves are shot about them flying alone but they are SO excited.

Chloe and I are heading to Bear Lake with some friends tomorrow afternoon and then we'll be home Thursday. Michael is working so he won't be joining us. No other plans so far but we'd like to head to Moab with the kids for a few days. Joshua turns 10 in August but he can't decide what he wants to do.

Michael leaves for a huge job July 18 and won't be back until early August so I'll be single mommying it; taking it one day at a time. ;)

Well, it came as no surprise it was a drug overdose that did it. She took too many prescription drugs. She did what the drs always tell you not to. If one pill doesn't do it anymore I will just take more. It is a tragedy.

So sad, I'm truly sorry. Addiction is a terrible thing. I see it every day. I'm sorry for your family's loss.

Thank you. It will be easier to get past now that she is at rest and has been laid to rest.

I'll check out the pics, looking forward to it! Avalon and Cape May are beautiful places. I grew up during the summers in Ocean City so that's where we usually go but it's Florida that we really love. We really want to move there, it's in our 5-7 year plan. Hoping the housing market will turn around a bit before we sell our house.

Thanks, he's actually looking forward to it. He's a bit nervous though which I think is normal. Once he knows what he can do and that it's ok to get your heart rate up, I think he'll feel more comfortable. He'll have 12 weeks to get comfortable then he's coming with me to the gym. Aw thanks, I love my MIL and I'm really excited she's coming with us. She's worked so hard and hasn't taken a vacation in 30+ years. It's time. I'm so excited to see her face when she see's her BFF!!! St. Augustine is only about 2 hours away from WDW so its totally do-able. We'll have to see what happens, an overnight would be awesome!

Is this the first time Joshua and Gabby have flown alone? I can only imagine how nervous you are, I would totally be freaking out too. I bet they are excited, how much fun for them it will be!

Big Bear sounds like fun! I hope that you enjoy it and have a great time. :yay: What does Michael do? Will he be able to come home between at all?

They haven't flown alone. They did great! Plane landed, they are with their counselor, on the their way to the temple, and from there the camp. Gabby has been texting me a play by play. They will take her phone when they arrive at camp so I am enjoying every detail for now. They are only allowed to contact via snail mail but there is this great website bunk1.com that posts pics of the kids daily sdo while they can't see me, I can see them. It also allows me to email them daily which the camp prints off and hands out in the afternoon. :grouphug:

Bear Lake is super fun. We'll boat and there are four-wheelers. :thumbsup2 Michael is a firefighter and works the 48*. We'll be home Thursday night; he works Tuesday and Wednesday.

I'm sure your DH will mend quickly especially with that great attitude!! :thumbsup2

Me and the kids in line for BTMRR:

Our trip was great! Much too much time spent driving though. If we go up and visit our parents next year, we will fly there!!
