Did you not like 'Ohana? We've been twice and lovesit. It's going to be very hard to not do. Also Tony's might be impossible to skip. 'Ohana is our traditional first night dinner. I'm replacing it with the Turf Clube this trip. Tony's is our last night dinner and not sure what I'm going to do about that.

Hey girl. I don't know if I am such a huge Lady and the Tramp fan or if it was because we just had hours of a Dream Day but we liked Tony's. I know it gets a lot of grief but they cooked M's steak perfectly. The service was fantastic! It was better than CRT and Chef Mickey's for sure. On all levels. It's going to be a hard one for me to give up this trip.

I've done CL at the CR and Poly. We all thought CL at the CR was way better than the Poly. At the CR, the lounge is on the 12th floor, same floor as the CL rooms. At the Poly, the entire Hawaii building is CL. The lounge is on the 2nd floor. At AKV, I'm not entirely sure since some rooms were converted to DVC. Are you going to do the Sunrise Safari if you get CL?

Tony's is in no way NY quality so know that going in. Michael's Italian is better but it was beter than Mama Melrose's for sure. I have been to Tutto or Via though. Tony's is like Olive Garden with regard to quality and creativeness however the theme is intense old school Disney which just adds to it's charm.

I think most likely, if we can't get either we will just waitlist and then stick with VWL but we will see what happens.

If I ever stay CL at AKV, I'm definitely doing it.

I've been checking availability for my August dates and I'm shocked that so many categories at different resorts are booked up. BLT has limited inventory for our dates. I checked BCV and that wasn't available. I guess everyone wants to be near SAB in the summer. No surprise there. Now I am SURE I will buy GFV. I think booking GFV after the 11 month window is going to be a nightmare. I'm hoping GFV has a CL category.

Thanks for the idea. I checked that thread but it doesn't seem to have much reported. I'm sure more will chime in at the 7 month mark which is growing increasingly closer.


I wish they were interested in BWV because I totally am. It looks like a blast and I love the theme. I think they would too if they'd really look but they are so set on AKV. I love AKV too so it's no heartache. They say the clown pool looks scary. I hear that a lot.


So far BCV look totally open so I bet you'll have a decent shot at 7 months.

I PMd you. It looks as though CL in October is filling up but not for my dates, yet. I'm going to have to be on that phone right at 7 am. Wonder if my chances are better by trying to book online? Guess I can do both and see which gets me through the quickest.


I agree, I think GFV will be next to impossible after the 11 month mark, very similar to the GCV. I bet they'll do a CL too. The GF screams CL.
