Can anyone out there fill me in on what KidCot in Epcot is? I was printing out a journel for my son to keep during our vacation and one of the lines reads "This is what I did in Kidcots" and "My favorite Kidcot is". Thanks for any help

Sure. There are stations at each country where you get a tag that represets that country. At the first country you visit you get a mask you can decorate with markers. My DD's 8 & 6 could have cared less about the various countries, but liked stopping at the Kidcots.

Kidcots are little hands on stations in the different country pavillions in World Showcase at Epcot. I believe the activity is still a mask that you add different decorations to at each stop. My DS has outgrown them, so we haven't done them in a long time, he loved them when he was younger. I still have masks from our trip in 1999, the last time he did them.....

Is this the same as the passport that i have read about for kids at epcot?

Nope, the passport is different. It's a little black book that the CM's at the different countries can write in. I believe they stamp the book, and then write a phrase in the native language.

Each country has a table set up with markers and crayons. Each child can get a cardboard mask to decorate and then get a tag that represents each place (USA is a rocking horse, Canada is a dreamcatcher etc).

At these tables you can also have your passport book (you can buy at any shop in Epcot) stamped and have whoever is signing will write a little message in their own language.

There's also some Kidcot activities in the Future World part. DS and I were waiting for DD and DH who were riding Test Track and found a table with markers and a lanyard-type thing that had a car hanging from it. There may be something similar in the Mission Space post-ride area, but we didn't check.

I just love these boards!! I learn something new every time I log on!!

Now we have another fun activity for the kids trip!
