Kidani vs. Jambo

Kidani vs Jambo, which do you prefer and why? I can't make up my mind. thank you.

I haven't stayed at Kidani, but I would pick AKL because it seems most activities are there, and so is the food court. Also like Lobby at AKL better.
We like the AKL rooms having 2 queens. I think DVC Studios only have 1 queen and a pull out.

It's so hard to decide. It will be just us and the baby so one bed and sofa would be fine. I think I would like Jambo more but am afraid the bus will be an issue since we will have the stroller folded and be carrying him. So I guess I have to decide between first bus stop and the food court. . I want both.

If you are worried about the busses, you should pick Kidani and ask for a room at the end closer to Jambo so you can walk to the food court in about 5 minutes.

JAMBO-Nice lobby, closer to food court, more the hustle and bustle of resort

KIDANI-Better pool for kids, sleepy quiet village, walk maybe 10 minutes to food court, or you could hop on bus, or once was driven over in golf cart by Kidani staff.

I've stayed at both and prefer Kidani, but Jambo is a close second.

We have only stayed at Jambo and chose that over Kidani as we wanted to be close to Mara for quick CS meals .

Stayed at both, love Kidani....love the quiet accommodation, pool and gym. Normally stay in 1 bed so have kitchen for snacks and get any other food in parks and Disney restaurants. Also check -in, concierge is usually quicker as the lobby is generally quieter. My guilty pleasure is drinking a bottle of wine in the evening watching the animals go about their business.

I've stayed at both, Jambo in a regular Savannah room and Kindani in a 2 bedroom. I actually like the quite of Kindani better as well. I spend so much time in the parks the CS isn't a real issue for me. Also, I usually travel with someone with a scotter and baby strollers, so the convience of being the first stop was a huge selling point for me. We were always able to get a seat on the bus the first time around. I have stayed at other resorts with multiple stops and have had the bus drive right pass us! Not fun when you have a little one with you.

Pros for Kidani

1) Quieter
2) Awesome water play area for little kids
3) Rooms are a little bigger
5) Busses stop here first - I would say that is the biggest pro
6) Covered parking if you are driving

Pros for Jambo

1) Bigger gift shop with more selection
2) The Mara counter service is on site
3) The lobby is more majestic, although also busier

They both have great cast members, super nice pools and the rooms are beautiful. I personally prefer Kidani, but they are both really great
