Kidani village to get RINO!

Hmmmm, the animal curator never mentioned THAT last month. He did say they had acquired new animals and they were being aclimated now in the barns. I would think it would be difficult to do, since they would need a seperate habitat, and not be a savanna animal. I doubt they would do a seperate habitat like that at the lodges.

Only the black rhino has separate habitat at Animal Kingdom. The white rhino is on the savanna with the other critters and sometimes even holds up the safari truck if he/she stands in the middle of the road.

Still is probably an April Fool's joke though.

Yes, I've been on safari's where the white rhino wouldn't move. Still, I doubt a rhino would be on the lodge savanna. It would be a bit too dangerous.

Sorry for the mistake! The rino is going to AK for the breading program! I just talked to my friend from AKL and he said they might be getting an OKAPI! If you don't know it is from the rainforest of africa, which the new savanna is going to be a rainforest savanna! The Okapi is an awsome animal!

Well THAT makes a lot more sense! I couldn't imagine a rhino being at the lodge. GREAT that they are making the new savanna a rainforest! The animal curator DID tell us there would be some new interesting animals on the new savanna, but he wouldn't say just what yet. He was pretty excited about it though, sothe rainforest idea sounds feasible!

First rhino, maybe a few lion cubs, then add some crocs to the new pool area and we are all set :)
Make your ADRs carefully! When they ask if you are here for dinner, make sure you know which side of the plate you're on!

I think it would be cool to actually have a separate "realistic" savanna for an adults only section. Predators!!!!! Oh yes!!!! A real Simba practicing real pouncing (actually, it would be a Nala and her sisters pouncing on a wilder beast or zebra). I'm not kidding. I think it would be fascinating to see lions or cheetahs hunt and eat in the wild.
