Kidani Village Room request

We are taking extended family with us next June. There will be 18 of us in two- two bedroom Savannah View rooms. 5 will be young kids, four teenagers & the rest adults. I've stayed there only once before and our room was near an elevator. For those of you who have stayed there several times, what would be your preference for room request- near an elevator, near the pool, near transportation? We hope to be able to get our 2 dedicated 2BRs side by side- but I'm not sure if that will be possible. Just curious as to what others find as their favorite location.

I find bring close to the pool the best location. I ant stand long walks back to the foo. With a wet swim suit

There are several elevators spaced thru out the building so I don't find that a very necessary request unless you have a specific one you wish to be by. I guess that first and foremost I'd add a "traveling with" notation to both reservations so that they know you wish to be close to each other.
