So my wife & I are taking my brothers kid (18) and my sisters in laws kid (8) to Disney World (July 1-6th) My plan is to have my younger nephew sleep on a air mattress and my older nephew sleep on the queen sofa bed. I was planning on buying a single air mattress but what size would fit in a studio or what are my other options

With the sofa bed pulled out you're not going to have much room for an air mattress.

But I don't really understand the need for one in the first place. The AKV studios are designed to sleep 4 people, so why can't they share the queen sofa bed?

Any chance you could do a 1-bedroom at Kidani? Then you would have the sleeper sofa and the sleeper chair + the bonus of 2 full baths!

We've done this.
At Kidani a TWIN sized air mattress can be laid on the tile flooring in the area that joins rooms together, just stand it on end during the day so the room is usable.

FYI for Jambo studio dwellers: although the rooms can be quite a bit smaller, a twin sized air mattress will fit at the bottom of the pull out sofa, just move the table (carefully!) toward the bathroom area. (We did this in a value room and while it did make using the tiled area in the bathroom a bit more cramped we made it work.)

Sharing a bed is not an option with some kids. Just the way it is.

I guess because even though they are related to us.. they aren't related

I gotcha. I guess because I have shared a bed in a non sexual manner with people who I'm not related to, I just don't relate to it being an issue.
