Would a Savanna or Standard view at AKL-Kidani be more likely to be close to the pool, lobby, and bus stop? Are there many Savanna views close to the pool/ lobby if we were to request it?

I don’t know the numbers, but I think standard and savanna views are fairly evenly divided as it is mostly just which side of the hall you are on. So, I think you could book either and possibly be close to the lobby/bus. I suppose for the trifecta to include pool proximity you would also want the north wing.

To avoid the lobby, just take any elevator/stairs down to the parking level. The pool is a short walk.
There is a walking path just off the lobby area to the pool. see the link:

Hey Bill,
Can you transition from the South to the North wings via the parking lot? Does it extend under the lobby area? I've never been down there
Also, OP if you zoom in on the map view Bill posted, there is a red car parked pointing right at the Rafiki elevator. We stayed not far off the lobby in the north wing and would take the Rafiki elevator to the parking level, exit onto the sidewalk in front of the "red car" and crossover at the depicted crosswalk which leads to a gate just off the Maji Pool Bar.
Yes, the parking lots goes pretty much from the far left, north side to the far right side. There are a few small jogs but you can walk from one end to the other, just keep an eye out for cars especially where they first come in, the drivers may be a bit 'sun blind' when they first arrive.
