Kidani "sample" rooms - where to see?

Yes, we are one of those members that bought at Kidani without seeing anything more than a picture in a brochure. Since we will be at SSR in 2 days (woohoo ) we thought we would try and see the sample rooms they have. I thought that the rooms to tour were at SSR. Am I correct? How would I go about seeing what the rooms look like? We don't want to get into an add-on discussion - we just want to see what we spent nearly $16k on

Historically the model rooms have been staffed for unscheduled tours by current owners daily between 5-7pm. My wife and I did it about a year ago. We asked a DVC booth CM first and he confirmed that we could simply show-up during those hours.

The models are in the old theater building at SSR across from "The Springs" section of the resort.

We went in July to see them. It is from 5-7 everyday for DVC members.

Make sure you allow yourself plenty of time to get there because they close promptly at 7PM.

We just did this last week. Showed up around 6:30 p.m. and were the only ones there. The staff at the door invited us in but left us on our own, which was very nice - and a bit surprising. We were impressed with the units - love the nice kitchen counters, stove and the overall layout (can you tell we often cook in our unit?). The extra bath and fold-out chair are great additions, too. The units look very comfortable to stay in. I'm not crazy about the location of the AKL in general, but it would be worth it to stay there for the extra amenities in the rooms, especially if you had a few non-park days and had time to enjoy the lodge and surroundings.

Pay attention to the walls across the hall from the AKV model rooms.... inside are the BLT models...go ahead and knock down the temporary door and grab some photos!
