Kidani room requests

Wanting some input on room requests for Kidani. We are staying in a standard 2 bedroom and rented DVC points. Online check in is approaching but I know the person we rented through has to put in any specific requests. I've heard that some standards offer partial savannah rooms which we would love to try for. I've tried using the interactive map on touringplans that shows the views of each room, but most are approximate and don't match up so I can't tell for sure what the view would be like. Any tips on what to request? Thanks!

We stayed at Kidani in a 1 bedroom and requested Pembe savannah near the pool. We had a great view. Right on the edge of the savannah with the pool to our left. We were super excited for a great view of the savannah but at a standard rate!

Our Room number was 7939.

We requested a Savannah View on the Online Check In page. The last couple of times we've had specific requests, the CMs didn't even acknowledge the request until I brought it up. Do they even see this initially and choose for whatever reason not to accommodate? I understand the whole "availability" thing. I'm just saying that they just basically ignore any request in there unless you say something.
