We are looking to book a standard 2 BR lockoff at Kidani for next year's trip. What area/ building would be good for a child with mobility challenges? No wheelchair, but walks with leg braces...We need good proximity to elevators, pool, parking, and bus stops. Thanks!

Parking and elevators won't be a problem as they are spread throughout the whole resort and not more than maybe 8 rooms away even if you are evenly spaced between 2 elevators. The pool and bus stops are on opposite sides of the lobby. near the lobby would put you semi close to both of these but not really close to either. The bus stops are much closer to the lobby than the pool access area.

I would request "near lobby" so you are centrally located. There really aren't any rooms near the bus stop, and the pool isn't anywhere near the bus stop either. So being near the lobby would probably be easiest for you. We were down by the pool and it was quite a hike to the bus stop from there. I hope you have a great vacation. :thumbsup2:goodvibes

We stayed in Kidani last June and I would also recommend that you request to be by the lobby. Although there are plenty of elevators, the pool and bus stops are both relatively close to the lobby. We stayed in a 1-bedroom that was 2 rooms from the end of the Kidani "lodge" and it was a LONG walk from the lobby/bus stops to our room. We often were quite exhausted by the time we reached our room.

Good luck and have fun!

Thanks for all the input! We did pretty good at SSR last year, but the closer we are to things the happier everyone is! :)
