Kidani Room Request

Our 1st ever DVC trip will be in a standard studio in Kidani in October - so excited!! Can anyone recommend any special requests I should make for the room like location or view?

You might put in a request for pool view (not guaranteed) as it is the nicest of the standard views.

I'd say close to the lobby would be a nice option. High floor if you want a view that doesn't involve people looking at you on your balcony on the ground floor. Quick jaunt to the pool and the buses.

So maybe request a high floor, close to lobby, with pool view? Is this combination possible in a standard studio?

As 1st DVC trip can you tell me what is the likelihood of room preferences being granted? Also, how may floors are there in Kidani?

You give too many requests and chances of getting none get higher. If you request pool view, you will not be far from lobby if you get it, and could also request upper floor although any floor for pool view rooms are fine (2d floor is high enough there that view is fine and is high enough that no one is going to be walking by and staring in your room); there are four floors with rooms -- 2 through 5 (ground floor is under-building parking. As to chances of actually getting request, many have reported success, some have reported no. For my last trip, I am one of the no's. I had savanna view and requested close to lobby and lower floor (2 or 3). I got 4th floor with a room as far from the lobby as you can possibly be -- right near the end of the north wing where the room was more than 1/4 mile from the lobby. Best thing going for all the standard view rooms is that none of them are real far from the lobby.
