Kidani or Jambo??

Random question and apologize if this has been discussed previously - is AKL back to normal operating procedures now? One of my very favorite things is interacting with the amazing staff there - from the lobby staff coloring with the kids, to the guides on the savannah, smores, night vision goggles etc... I sure missed that on our early 2021 trip.

I sure missed that on our early 2021 trip.

I don’t know about the kid’s activities - although in Dec. I watched as the CMs lead the kids around the Jambo lobby & in chanting to ‘light’ the Christmas tree. There were also CMs at the Arusha & Uzima overlooks - I chatted w/ one about the baby Addax at the Uzima overlook. More recently Jiko has reopened.

I enjoy staying at both. I give Kidani the slight edge because of the extra bathroom. It was much appreciated for our family of 5. We rent a car, and we love the underground garage at Kidani, especially during the afternoon monsoon.
