Kidani or Jambo????

Hurray for us!!!! Just purchased at BLT and have our first trip home booked for March!!! We are so excited, this is something that we have been considering since a December 2008 trip. We figure that with going to WDW at least twice a year and always staying in deluxe resorts, DVC was the way to go!

We are now planning for our second trip in Aug, and are looking for some advice. We are definitely staying at BLT for the first half of our trip and, are going to try to get some days at AK to add on at the end. We are debating between Kidani or Jambo. We have a little guy who will be 2 in Aug. Any words of wisdom? We will be staying in a studio (don't feel we need the extra room just yet!). How long is the walk from Kidani to Jambo? We are walkers, and don't mind the distance, but would like to know what we are in for. Another important piece of info - we won't have a car, so will be relying on WDW transportation.

Haven't stayed there but from what I understand, it is about a 10 minutes walk to the main building from Kidani.

With the 2 year old, I might opt for Jambo as that is where most of the food is located.

You can still use the pool at Kidani but you would be near everything by staying in Jambo.

We are in pretty much the same boat. Our daughter will turn 2 in late July and we are booked at AKL for late June. We are currently at Kidani, but we are considering calling back to change to Jambo. While the pool and parking (we're going to rent a car based on the location) sounds great at Kidani, I'm not sure what other advantages there are. Being that far away from a quick meal or our two preferred restaurants (Boma and Jiko, Sanaa doesn't really appeal to us) could be difficult with a toddler.

We also look forward to hearing any comments/suggestions!

Pool at Kidani has a splash pad that your little one will love. We stayed in October and loved Kidani. It was our first DVC stay!
