Going to book our next trip today. Youngest daughter's grad trip. Also bringing older daughter,25. We were originally thinking of a 1 br savanna view at Kidani, but the thought of the 2 daughters not having their own room has led us to a 2 br. We are looking at 6 nights.

So, with the points we have available, we can book a 2 br standard view or a value. If I go with standard, should I go Kidani or Jambo. DW and I were just in a 2 br standard at Kidani and loved it. But we don't need the extra bath and a 2 br standard at Jambo guarantees a pool view. But the Kidani rooms are larger and newer and we love Kidani. But we have stayed at Jambo and enjoyed that as well.

Opinions?

I know it isn't your choice, but my first choice would be the 1 bedroom savannah at Kidani.

Second, I would pick the standard 2 bedroom at Jambo for the pool view.

Third would be value 2 bedroom in Jambo because there would be a chance of savannah view.

My fourth choice would be the standard 2 bedroom in Kidani. As you say, you won't need that 3rd bathroom and I think the parking lot view seems bleak to me. It will improve as the trees grow, but for now, I would prefer not to have it. At least if you do get the parking lot view with the value at Jambo, you've saved some points and that would be better in my book.

Thanks Bobbi. I agree with your rankings. Looking at the point chart, with a little more borrowing from 2011, we could do a 6 night 2 br for 6 nights. (we are planning an OKW visit for the fall of 2010 as well.) I think it might be worth it.

I would choose Jambo over Kidani just becuase of your 2 daughters ages. the nightlife is at Jambo is where it is at.

OK. decision made! After hearing from DD, we have booked a 5 night 2 br savanna view at Kidani. I agree that there is great night life at Jambo, but I think they will really love Kidani. Our daughter who is graduating loves animals and really wants the savanna view. So do I! So the planning begins.

I hope you have the greatest time, planning and then going! Our DGC are much younger 4, 5, 6 and they were truly wowed, as was everyone in the family, by Kidani and the savannah view 2 bedroom there!

Thanks Bobbi! I really think it was the right choice. And we will only have to borrow a little from 2011 to make our 2 trips work. And this was the grad's choice. I can't wait to see the looks on their faces when they see the room and that view.

I have to admit, I am dying to see my nieces' and nephew's faces (not to mention everyone else's) when we take them to a Jambo house GV in April. We have a big family going (11 of us) so went with the GV for the first time. Might break it up into 2 -2bds in the future, but thought for the first time we would start it with a bang. We went with Jambo for 2 reasons- 1) Dad is handicapped so 1 story was the way to go, and 2) love the dining options at Jambo house!

Have a great trip and congrats to the grad!
