Kidani or Jambo...standard or savanna

Ok, we decided to go for the one night stay at AKL. Now here's where it's gets confusing to me...we are renting DVC points for that night. I have the option for either Kidani or Jambo one bedroom suite and can choose standard or savanna view. I am clueless about this resort but have always wanted to check it out and I think my three girls will love watching the animals (giraffes in particular). Is it worth it to pay extra for a savanna view? Which is better, Kidani or Jambo....help!!

Kidani savannah view would be my choice for a one bedroom. There's nothing like watching the animals in the morning from your own balcony.

I would not stay one night here in a standard view. Hardly seems worth it.

As a side note...we will stay put at the resort for the day, swim, watch the animals, relax! No parks no downtown disney...just there to take in the resort!

The difference between a one bedroom villa at Kidani and a one bedroom villa at Jambo are that the Kidani One bedroom villas have 2 bathrooms and the Jambo have one bathroom.

AKV is our home resort for DVC, we have stayed twice and we love it! We are planning a third trip for Spring Break 2014.

I recommend Kidani village and a savanna view - It is an awesome to be able to go out on the balcony and view the animals and to have 2 bathrooms.

I agree with the others that the savanna view is the way to go. They have giraffes on the Sunset savanna and they should be out unless it gets really cold.
