Kidani or hold out for BCV?

Tried to make ressies for BCV for June, but did not have availability. Made a ressie for Kidani, 2 bedroom dedicated and waitlisted for BCV. Now I'm wondering if I should cancel the waitlist and start planning our stay at AKL. Love the EPCOT area and pool at BCV, but AKL has great perks, too. BTW, party of 8 (2 adults, DS19 and friend, DS15 and friend, DD14 and friend).

Advantage AKV Kidani 2BR for party of your size because of room size (100 sq ft larger than BCV) and extra bathroom and sleeper chair. You also get the view of the animals (BCV generlly lacks any views to write home about). Moreover, if you have car you will be able to park close to your room in the under-building parking area. Bus system to parks is usually very good because the resort does not share with any other resort and has only two internal stops (but that is usually true of YC/BC too although you can sometimes get the forever busses that share with BWV and S/D).

BCV of course gives you easy access to Epcot and Studios and the large pool area, which may be a big plus for all those teens.

I would likely choose AKV.

I am leaning heavily toward AKL because we have stayed at BCV and BWV several times, but AKL only twice when kids were younger. Since they are older, they can roam wherever they want using the bus system, and we will have a car. Counter service is not really a big deal, since we wil use our kitchen for breakfast and snacks, but will eat while out at the parks and other areas. Do love the idea of the third bathroom - we can have our own bathroom, then one for the girls and one for the boys!

I would stick with AKV, unless you're there for SWW at DHS, then I would keep the waitlist.We are specifically staying at BCV for a SWW in June!

BCV is my home resort and we love the location. However, for everything but location, we prefer AKV. Those 2 bedrooms are so nice and I love the resort. We prefer the pools at AKL/AKV over SAB because they aren't quite as chaotic.

Good point about how chaotic the pool is at BCV. It really is most of the time. Thanks for all the advice. I feel much more comfortable about staying with AKV
