Staying in a 1bdrm savannah view. We will have a car. I have a 2 year old and MIL is 70. Hoping to not have a huge walk. In my preference, I was thinking of requesting Rafiki elevators, lower level.

I am thinking the pool will be more used/popular than the lobby for us since we have the car.

Is this the right preference? - and yes I know it isn't guaranteed ;)

We're staying at Kidani for the first time in Jan. and are trying to figure out the same thing.

I've tried to find a map with the elevator locations with no luck. Where did you find one?

Being close to a elevator is important if you are leaving the resort allot and don't want to walk and you have a car.

Being close to Rafiki elevator if you can get it allows you to walk toward the pool coming from the north side rather than south side of pool. Being close to lobby allows you to come from the south direction toward pool. The distance to pool either way is about the same. Being close to lobby means you are also close to restaurant, store, community hall and bus stops. getting close to Rafiki if you have requested savanna view means you can end up with either Sunset or Pembe savanna view. Pembe has no giraffes so if you want giraffes you need Sunset. Getting a close to lobby request with a savanna view means you will be on sunset with giraffes since Pembe is nowhere near the lobby.

Someone told me they were where the AED's are in the hallway. Made perfect sense. The rafiki elevators is the AED closest to pool

I do not want Pembe and didn't realize it was close to Rafiki - thank you.
