Kidani kids area

Does the kidani kids pool area have a sand feature?? Do any of the areas of animal kingdom lodge have a sand area? Thanks!!

Yes I did check there first but while also reading about the pools at grand Floridian there is no mention of an area with sand even though there is one. So I figure maybe they don't mention sand areas in the descriptions.

So for those that have been to AKL recently do they have sandy areas by the pool??

No sand entry at any Disney pools except for SAB.

At GF do you mean the beach area? Not actually part of the pool? Most of the resort that are situated on 7 Seas, Bay Lake or Crescent Lake will have beach area of some sort but no swimming is allowed.

Yeah I meant the beach area at GFV. Last year the kids could play there until Sun down.(I know not near the water). I also know that OKW had a sand area even though it's not near water. So was just curious about AKL having sand even though it's not near water.
