Kidani housekeeping question

I am staying for 5 nights through the DVC in the Kidani studio. I know there is no daily housekeeping service. What do we do about towels and washcloths. Are they provided the day of check in and we have to use the same ones every day? Can we get clean ones from housekeeping?

You will get new towels on the 4th day of your stay (if you check in on Sun. you'll get them on Wed.) as part of your trash and towel service. We've never considered it an inconvenience To re-use the towels as we don't wash our towels eveything day at home. If you would like fresh towels every day you can either use the free self-service washers/dryers or pay to have new ones sent up through Housekeeping. I don't know the cost but i'm sure someone else will post it.

The cost for an extra set of towels is $6.00. I believe you get an extra 4. We planned on doing that but ended up doing split stays during our vacation so there was no need as we stayed no where longer than 3 nights.

When I stay in a studio, I usually throw some colored washcloths from home into my luggage.

That's why DVC is different from a hotel. It's a timeshare and members pay for everything that is given to them. If you want clean towels every day, you'll need to pay for clean towels every day. If you want more than four bath towels, you'll have to pay for more bath towels.

Most members just hang them up (if you have multiple family members, find a way to identify yours) and reuse them until they are replaced on the fourth day.

This will be our first dvc stay. How many towels and washcloths are initially provided on day one? Are there also hand towels provided or should we bring a couple of those along from home, too?

You get four bath towels, two hand towels and four face cloths in a studio.
