With savanna view, is it better to be on the lower floors or the upper floors? We will be in a 1BR, any other location suggestions? TIA!

We were on the second floor and it was perfect. You were at eye level with the giraffes and you could see all the zebras and other assorted animals very easily. I believe the top floor would be to high.

I agree. Second floor would be my suggestion and close to the lobby. Both of our prior Kidani stays were on the second floor, but the first was close to the lobby and the second was not. I much prefer closer proximity to the lobby, the hallways are very long.

We were on the top floor will never request that again. We saw animals, but we saw a lot of tops of trees. We will always request lower floor from now on.

Lower. That is my only complaint about Jambo. All of the DVC rooms are on the top floor. We had 2nd floor at Kidani. It was a much better view.

We've stayed on both the second and fourth floors at Kidani. Lower levels definitely give you a better view, as you're a bit closer and just below the height of the tree canopies. However, when we stayed on the fourth floor we were just as happy with the view because, although trees were blocking some of the views, many of the animals were in plain sight for us. I guess it depends on the room location when staying on the upper floors.

As previous posters mentioned, definitely request "Close to the Lobby".

Have a great trip.

I always see a lot of second floor suggestions, but I loved the first floor. I went up to the second floor to see what the view was like, and I definitely preferred the first floor.

I'm wondering if people suggest second floor because if you got first floor and close to the lobby, it might be kind of noisy :confused3

There are no rooms on the first/ground floor of Kidani, just Sanaa, the lounge and the under-building parking. The rooms are on floors 2 (the lobby level) through 5.
