Kidani, advice please

Kidani experts wanted!!!

Heading to Kidani for the first time in 2 weeks. Reading tons of posts and now more confused than before. Basically needing advice on location requests for a 1br savannah view. I will say we have NEVER made one request and take what we are given. Sometimes good, sometimes not good. This time I want something good if possible.

I get the whole close to lobby, close to Jamba etc. Personally we don't mind walking so I'm open to that I guess. Had the absolute last room at BW one time so kinda been there.

What I really really want is a great view of the animals for the kids to see in the morning, in the evening WHEREVER that may be. So high floor, low floor, far away, North wing, South wing etc. Tell me.

Experts? Where do I want to be?

Great question OP. I kinda of have the same for Jambo Studio savannah.

I like to keep the text's that Disney sends to you to let you know when your room is ready....so, I'm looking at my text from Oct..when we checked into Kidani, one bedroom. We had villa 7826. It was quite simply, wonderful. Very nice view of the animals, and not too far from the main bank of elevators.
BUT...keep in mind, you really can't request a particular room number. If you have reserved a savannah view villa, you will in all probability, be quite happy with it. I have never been given a savannah view room, at Kidani, that didn't have a view that I was very happy with.

@ checkin @ Kidani, we requested lobby, and got it. I was so thankful, viewing of the animals is the best in my OP. Third floor would be fine to, 4th or 5th, you are really looking down at them. I loved our room and location, and hope we are as lucky next time to get same floor. We were also closer to Jambo, that was a bonus, but I do not mind a walk at all.

"2nd floor close to the lobby" is the most common "best location" response. You can see under the tree line (not that there is much) and it saves you walking time.

We were on the 5th floor. On the plus side, you can see more of the savanna and binoculars or camera zoom can bring you much closer. Sometimes the animals don't wonder your way and I suppose seeing something can be better than nothing. And when they're resting you can see more of them.

The outlook stations are available to all and where you will likely get your best looks.
